Day 1: Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be warmly received by your private guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of the ancient city. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Hanuman Dhoka Palace, and Kumari Ghar, the home of the Living Goddess. Enjoy lunch at a traditional Nepali restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu (Temples, Stupas & Sunset)
After breakfast, explore Kathmandu’s most sacred and spiritual sites. Visit Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple (one of the most important Hindu temple complexes), and respectfully observe the cremation ghats and rituals. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal. Lunch at a typical Nepali restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 3: Kathmandu (Day Trip to Bhaktapur & Patan)
After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to the ancient royal cities of Bhaktapur and Patan. Drive approximately 45 minutes to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and explore the 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, and the lively Pottery Square. Continue to Patan (Lalitpur) to visit Patan Durbar Square, the Golden Temple, Mahaboudha Temple, and the excellent Patan Museum. Return to Kathmandu. Lunch at a typical Nepali restaurant.
